In-house Training Programs

Management and Leadership Programs
We develop tailor-made programs for you when it is most useful for a chosen circle of persons to learn together over a longer period of time. The core themes and the suitable company-specific "Design" are based on a careful needs analysis. All the different perspectives from the side of the client (management, personnel) and the parties involved (participants) are combined here. "Where do you stand?" and "What should change after the training" are the central guidelines when tailoring the programs. Through many years of experience, we have learned which themes are important for which target groups, and have developed special learning processes to suit.

Evaluating Potential and Management Programs
Hernstein develops high-level agendas by combining potential-evaluations and management development programs. If you want to ensure precise needs-orientation and lasting learning effects for yourself, then we’ll combine potential-evaluations with potential-development for you.

Every participant completes a potential-evaluation before and after the development programs, and receives personal feedback as well as feedback from the learning group. The program contents are constructed around central themes that you, as client, decide upon, or that we, as experienced partner, suggest; nevertheless, they are tailored to each learning group according to their unique potential.

The comparison of personal potential-evaluation and the group results (which are made known in the learning group) ensures the highest motivation to learn and a measurable learning result. Personal before-after comparisons are only available to the management; on a group level, however, you can measure the effect on the entire learning group.

Internal Company Seminars
These serve to qualify social or management competences. We develop tailor-made trainings when:

  • a large number of persons in the company has a similar need to learn (from a group of individuals to complete teams or departments);
  • different management levels are learning, and wish to have exchanges amongst themselves;
  • a specific learning-theme is to be developed for your company’s situation;
  • learning should take place in combination with changes in your company.

Team Development
A group of persons who want to or are supposed to work together are not yet a team. A good team has to develop first. Sometimes, the appropriate amount of support is needed in this initial phase. Even existing teams that are in the process of restructuring sometimes need "Off-Times", in which the focus is not on the operative day-to-day business, but rather on improving "Interaction and Cooperation".

The Hernstein Institute offers special tools for analyzing and leading teams, based on Hernstein Potential-Evaluations:

  • Leadership Analysis
    Colleagues express themselves about the performance and leadership behavior of their superiors. As their superior, you will find out how you are perceived in your leadership by your co-workers.

  • Team Analysis
    The staff survey on team behavior allows you to gain an understanding of the success factors in the team, determine where a need for development exists and suggest specific training modules.
